I guess it depends on how many mods for me. When I traded my 09 in for the 06, only mods were z51 sways, splash guards and tint. I paced back in fourth in the shop with wrenchs in hand to swap back the stock sways and sell them on the forum. In the end I didnt because I felt like if I did the deal would fall through for some reason and Id have to put them back on again. Lazy I know plus I kept getting cold feet, I loved the 09. But I do agree that sometimes dealer trade is best route. In my case I bought my 09 for 12K off sticker, but still would have been hard to find a buyer when 10s are out and deals all over on 09s. Ended up trading the 09 1lt for the 06 2lz for 6k and only had to pay tax on that.
If you swap the gray '06 console for an '08 console the interior is similar to that in your prior '09.
