Default Embroidered Headrests?

Has anyone had their headrests embroidered? Do you have a picture?

I had my truck seat upholstered the other day, the shop did a great job, and they told me they would add padding to the C6 seats and embroider the headrests any way I wanted for $200 each.

I'm tempted because that's a mod you don't see every day, but I need to think of a design that will stand the test of time because once it's there it's not coming off. This'll be my first tattoo!

I don't think the C6 flags will work because there's already one on the waterfall.

I wish I was smart!

Thanks

I bought an extra set of seat covers for this project next week. I am adding something very similar to Jake as not to infringe on GM's copyright.

As it stands I am going to do an outline of the skull and the eyes solid in dark gray against Ebony. Something pretty understated but there.

I'll probably post up some pics of the headrest and custom console lid. Was quoted 30.00 headrest bringing in the seat back.

Plan "B" is do a "Kilroy was here"

That looks really good! I would have made the 'Corvette' just a little larger.

I've heard the average person with some simple tools can do it but I had a pro shop do mine. The seat rails are very sharp and you have to be very careful removing them. They also added a little extra padding in the side bolsters so they don't wear like OEM. Anyway, I paid $1500 for the seats and the install. Not bad?

That's cool!

Is the thread you used the same color as the leather? It looks a bit different than the seat and it stands out just enough, sort of like ghost flames.

I also like the way the leather is pulled in, calling attention to the embroidery.

Yours is the nicest I've seen.
