Mine is Monterey Red but thought you might get a good idea of how yours would look.

I have a Monterey Red too & will (when I get the loot) have them powder coated Monterey Red as well. If I were you, get them powder coated Crystal Red.

Silly me. I just used a rattle can of Krylon latex. The 2612 Indian Ocean Burgundy is a match for CRM.

Yep, silly you. That won't last long. They look really good when fresh. Tried oh so many times before and then done the correct way via powder coating.

I've got roughly 40K on the car since I did that. I'll check the date/mileage, then take another pic and post them side by side.

I will need to wash the car first. It's a DD, not a garage queen and the rain here has been off and on for a couple weeks.

Go with Mike the Powder Coater all the way. I have Crystal Red calipers with my black rims.

What's silly about it? I sprayed mine almost a year ago and they still look good. I can spray 'em every time they start to look bad for the next 20 years before it equates to the cost of powder coating.

Just finished putting CRM calipers on my 2008 CRM vert. Mike "The Powder Coater" did the excellent power coat job. By all means contact him no matter what color you decide on!

True that. Especially a good idea if you take it to the road course because the calipers start looking pretty sad from the heat. With the rattle can method you just refresh as needed. Not a knock against powder coating but sometimes the cheap and easy is not so bad and can make sense.

and in fact, I recommend against powdercoating if you do a lot of track days as it will discolor (unless you go with satin black, then they hold up ok).

Powdercoating cost is 250 plus 30 shipping and exchange is available with a 300 refundable core charge.

If you track your car, powdercoating is not the way to go.
For day to day driving, powdercoating will give you a much more professional and polished look.

Default CRM calipers on a CRM vert

I paided $250 plus $30 shipping. It was worth every penny. Plus Mike's service is outstanding. He recieved my brackets and calipers on a Friday morning and they were on a UPS truck back to me by Saturday night!

There are several postings here on the forum on "How to remove and re-install" plus Mike has a "Vette" magazine article on his web site with a "How to do" article.
