HUH? How can you tell since the video was removed years ago?

The sound is not that loud in my Vette. Hopefully it would go away after the 2k miles.

A couple of months ago I decided to enjoy the sound of my new Vette, the dual exhaust, the 6.2 L engine. I turned off the A/C and Stereo and I heard that ticking. I was like WTF! It remineded me a little the reason why I got rid of my Camaro (bad lifters).

Anyway, I guess if you want to enjoy the noise of your engine you would have to pay another 100k for a Ferrari. Not worth it.

I had one of those Junk vortec engines in a suburban and 5k miles after the ticking started the engine was junk. The can and lifters wear out. GM knows about it and does not stand behind it. I much prefer a L98

I was told that there is NO fix. Replace the engine. The cam and lifters wear out and metal circulates through the engine. Ask around but I had one and it was junk

So obviously you don't have a C6 Vette! If you feel that way, get yourself a C4 with the 350 cu in (5.7 L ) L98? Problem solved!
