I say pretty much same speed if anything the GS should be a tad slower..

If you don't beleive gearing is important, bet your car against your friend's, but take off in second gear while he uses first gear.

My point was the the small diff in the base/GS gearing could be offset by other factors. I wasn't talking 4:10 gears... and yes I do know the impact of gear ratios.
