Rear License Plate Frame...Black on TR?

License plate frame
I have a Victory red coupe. I just went to wal-mart and purchased a $3.00 black metal frame, used a dremel tool to cut off the two lower tabs. It looks great and a lot cheaper than the more costly color keyed frames.

The car is Torch Red. I'm wondering if anybody's done a black frame, either with our without the Corvette writing and/or flags? My thinking is, there's the black spoiler brake light bar, and the underside black plastic trim on the back....maybe a black frame would go with that....kinda blend in as a trim piece type of thing...........

Plenty of black back there already. Should look just fine. It's what I have bought on my 06 VY and 07 MR cars.
