My uncle was a Marine helicopter rescue pilot in Nam in the early '60s. The son of a man who was rescued wrote a book. Awesome story. It's called "a sense of duty".
My uncle went on to be the first Marine to move to pilot the F4. He was highly decorated. Sadly, we buried him at Arlington about a year ago.
Your son is a hero! You are lucky!!!

I agree. I won a 35000 boat. The taxes are based on your income. The total price is added on to your total income. My income for the year I won the boat was 140,000. I paid takes on 175,000 that year. The boat cost me 15,000 in federal and state taxes.
