We now will include (all ready attached) the wire pad and best feature of all - leather strips over the frame sides.![Cheers!](https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/images/smilies/cheers2.gif)

So is this better than the other kit?
And does it come with instructions? My only concern is the wire pad looks weak. The other one is ballistic nylon.

We've been using that same pad material for 3 years on the C5's . It is 3mm compressed foam with one side covered in high density plastic film. Automotive companies use the material to cover bumpers and body panels during shipping.
The issue I see with the "kit" is that it does nothing to the major problem and that is the frame cutting into the foam on the sides like a scissor. That is what breaks down on the drivers side and flattens it out.
I will be replacing a seat bottom tomorrow at the shop and plan on making a picture step-by-step installation post.

Good point. I also like that I am replacing the foam versus adding extra foam under the existing crushed foam to elevate it. I think this is what I will be buying. But I would definitely need a DYI guide. Thanks for the quick answers.
