gdarwin,

In a 2011 GS Vert the antenna is located to the right of the mirror on the Passenger's side on the windshield.

I was going to take it to the dealer to have them fix it. But have not had the time to. I am wondering whether or not some wide black velcro would work? You can buy the velcro at Home Depot or Lowes.
If you go with the velcro from home depot be sure to get the Scotch brand labeled as Extreme fastener and 3X stronger than Velcro and is labeled to hold up to 10 pounds it's actually not a cloth type velcro but an interlocking weave plastic type material, and i can tell you for sure that if you clean both surfaces with an alchohol pad, it will stick and stay on your windshield, i have it on all my vehichles to hold my EZ passes on and they have been there for a couple of years now.
