I searched before posting this but couldn't find anything.
Behind the headrest, on the convertible cover, the paint is slowly wearing where the cloth touches the paint (when the top is up).
Has anyone else experienced this and if so, have you been able to do anything about stopping it?
I will be able to polish the mark out but want ideas of how to keep it from wearing again.

I remember that I had that problem on my C5 and bought a plastic adhesive strip that was made specifically for that problem. Unfortunately, I can't remember where I bought it. I will try to search my records and see if I can determine where I got it from, since it appears I may have the same problem with my 2012.

Put the top down more. (Just kidding) Although, driving less with the top up and windows down might help. Keep an eye on it and buff it out before it gets big.

Mine touches (ever so slightly there too) 2005 Vert and Black.
The scuff polishes off w/ wax only very easy.
I think it is the liner material, not the canvas that is touching.
I never bothered to investigate the cause.
Maybe find what is touching and add some felt as opposed to looking at top mechanism adjustments.

Your anti glare panel is chafing the paint. On my car the panel is very taut in that location and does not move. If you can't make an adjustment, put a piece of self sticking muslin on the painted surface as a wear patch.

After looking at it more closely it appears to be a scratch caused by the liner. So I will need to polish it out and then add some protection to the area to prevent the scratching again.
Before I add clear bra material I will look at the liner to see if there is something I can do to soften or pad the liner material. It appears that elastic is rubbing against the paint.
