There is really no need to take your car to anyone to have the lockpick installed. The system simply plugs into your XM radio box and can be done in about 5 minutes. If you have a coupe the XM box is extremely easy to locate. I don't have a conv, but from what I have read the box is pretty easy to locate in those as well.

Yeah, read further down the thread because I rectracted that statement. I assumed incorrectly that it installed like an older lockpick I had for my previous coupe. I ended up having the 360-2 installed by a professional.

This is a great product but I thought the resolution is supposed to be poor on these nav units???

So I have been hearing conflicting reviews as to the quality of the audio playback in regards to the iPod/music aspect of the lockpick
Anyone care to chime in as to how it sounds (quality wise)

I installed the older version about a year ago. It is quite a bit more than just plugging into the XM module, but also very doable. If you have done radio/speakers installs before you should find most of it very easy.
You do have to open up your Nav radio and swap out some ribbon cables. The connections on the ribbon cables are a little tricky and takes patience to insure they are fully inserted and locked in place.
Before you order I suggest you look at the link above, previously posted to see what it involves.
I really like having the backup camera!

Kellf, what was the approx time it took you to do the install?
Any particular difficult areas/things to watch out for, other than just being careful all along?
Thank you.
