Thanks for sharing that with us. When I joined the forum over ten years ago I think Ken was already a forum sponsor - one of the few. In ten years I have never heard ANY negative experiences at all. Even the best have things go wrong, but he seems to be the best of the best.

Thanks for sharing.

really getting tired of all the 'sky is falling' threads that seem to be populating the forum lately.

I was planning on starting a similar thread as I had an ordered car through Ken that was about 50 cars in front of the OP. It was a seamless transaction and the only new car purchase that I have ever made that I had any contact with the owner let alone emails and phone calls giving me updates concerning the unforeseen issues that came up due to the shutdown. I know that there are other dealers on this forum and I am sure that most are great but if you are going to purchase any new Chevrolet and you want to be treated with respect and integrity call Ken.... End of story

Thanks Ken!

Your story is a great one - thanks for sharing it here. I've been on this forum for nearly 7 years and Ken was here when I first joined. One of the things that I've always admired Ken for is the way he has helped MANY people here (even those who aren't his customers) without asking for anything in return and without tooting his own horn. He is absolutely a class act and I hope to be able to buy my next Corvette from him.

And you ask how does Ken do it....volume!

I'm glad you got the car you wanted and it was such a positive experience. Ken sounds like 'good people' to work with. Thanks for sharing and enjoy your gorgeous new car!

Ever since I joined the CForum, Ken has been a well respected Suporting Dealer. I get most all of my GMPP's from Ken, not just Corvettes (i.e. - including my Silverado).

$90K MSRP sounds high for a Z06 and low for a ZR-1. What did you get ?

Congrats.. I not a fan of black rims, but I gotta say they look sharp on your ride. The red stripe makes a difference. Beautiful ride brother..

None of them ship in an enclosed trailer from Bowling Green using GM's contracted carrier.

Ken is top notch for sure and has gone out of his way to help alot of members on this forum. We are lucky to have the dealers we have some of the dealers we have here. While some surpass other for the most part we have good people here. One who is back after a brief absensce is Rick Daniels. Welcome back Rick. One who I have the highest praise for is Tommy Jr. at MacMulkin in NH. I made a deal with him over the phone and it was as simple as that. His prices are about as low as you can go and the transactions with him are smooth and fast. I am looking at the third car from Tom now. Be sure to support our dealers here from the forum...and Happy Thanksgiving ...we are lucky to be able to drive these cars and live where we live..even with the gloomy economy...we are still way better off than others on this planet.

Great story. Good to hear there are still dealers that go the extra mile to make the new car purchase a positive experience. Based on the positive comments by others in this thread, it appears reputation still means something. Congrats to Fichtner for their great customer service and to you on that gorgeous Z!

Rick, thanks for coming into this thread with kind words. You, Ken, Tommy Jr and the other CF supporting dealers are all appreciated here for what you do for our corvette community. I mention you three as my family has bought cars from all three of you plus Kevin Will at LS.

That's interesting. I purchased my car from Ken Fichtner earlier this year - another fantastic purchase experience - and this is how my Corvette made it to his dealership from the factory:

I'm sure all of the CF dealers provide great service.
P.S. I would never want to go all the way to MT. I would just pay the extra and have a courtesy delivery.

Not the normal transport company for GM. It sure as heck was not Jack Cooper, Inc That had to have cost extra
