[QUOTE=liveaboard74;1580626941]That first photo will get you in the mood quick. Very nice gentleman and both him and his wife knew what they were talking about with the car. Think its to cool when you build it together and enjoy it as a team.
The SS Vette was for sure a unique Corvette but the last photo was my favorite. When you have that may "YOUNG PEOPLE" gathered around one vette you know their having a great time and enjoying the day..
Thank you liveaboard 74
First I want to thank the CCCC for a GREAT weekend. We made some great friends and got to spend some time with one of our many kids that lives in Charleston. The club members were all great and we discussed how nice it would be to be a member of the CCCC on our drive back home Sunday morning.
My wifes name is Susan and my name is Steve. Don from SS Vettes in Florida, hand built the fenders a couple of years ago in his home garage, so we decided to use our initals as a code name on the car as well as plug for Don's company. Don has since moved to a facility in Ft. Myers and I think Don was, or is, doing some parts for Supervettes . Anyway Susan and I do enjoy working on the car together but we especially enjoy the company of the people we meet at a great events like this one.
We'd like to thank all those who voted for our car as there were many many sharp rides to choose from. We were taken back to hear our name called.
Thanks again CCCC, God willing, we hope to can attend again next year.

The SS Vette is a custom body made by SS Vettes Inc. Big dollars and bad ***! The rest of his add on's read as such (from his plaque on the intake) Z06 342 Rear, Kooks Headers, SS Vettes Body, DS Vettes Interior, Savini Wheels, Throttle Booster, Callaway CA1, Nitto Invo Tires (he also gave credit to the tuner & the paint). The wheels had about a 5-6 inch lip, he did say they were custom from Savini.
