Move up to a ZO6.

I think the OP has the car in "launch control". Read the manual about the sequence of TC button pushes for each mode.

Only the "manual" has "launch control". A6"s have "traction control" etc.

I have to agree. Then again I don't know why you would want to waste your tires but if that floats your boat

Launch control is only for M6, not Auto's.
I think the traction control is still on!

You guys crack me up... 3 pages already on this one..

For the record, press TC button for x seconds until it beeps and tells me TC and AH is off. Not that tuff. IT's not like the vette is the first car I've had with TC.

For those with stock GS A6 that can "smoke at will" I'd love to see proof.

Also, I'm not saying it's slow. It gets to 60 in what feels like 4 seconds.

It is interesting to hear a Z06 owner stating that the narrow body ( aka "base" ) C6 isn't far behind his car in terms of power....that the Z06 has " a little more power ".

Now, I know you said these things about the GS. But, pardner, of course, the engine in the GS is identical in hp and torque to every LS3 narrow body base C6 ever built.

Must be something drastically wrong with his ZO6.

Hardly any weight on the rear of a truck.
