Default The ZR1 at Sunset

Well I hauled the ZR down to the bay for a show. It rained for 2 days so the car has been in the trailer. This morning it was storming so I decided, no show for me and I left the car in the trailer. But the sun came out and it turned out to be a beautiful day. So it finally got the best of me and I had to unload it and take a short cruise and get some pics at sunset.

It runs like the wind. I've just been keeping it really clean for a show this upcoming weekend. It will be in Reliant Stadium for a banquet before the HCIAS show and I'm super excited about that. BUT, the weather got the best of me this evening. AND, I can only have 1/4 tank of gas in it for the banquet and it's got about a 1/2 tank. Oh well, guess I got to burn at least 1/4 tank in the next couple of days. (That won't take long )

Awesome Lisa, car looks amazing as usual!
Btw, you don't need to justify your actions as it's your XXXX car... U do with it what you darn well please! Steve R--I'm sure your folks taught you to say nothing if you had nothing nice to say... don't be a troll. :crazy2 If you knew her then you'd know she "drives" her cars... actually she drove the ZR1 to the Birthday Bash in 2011 and got it extremely wet and dirty in the process. She didn't pass judgement on you so don't pass judgement on her. She's preparing for and event and I, too, wouldn't want to get the car I just cleaned the crap out of dirty either.

Perhaps I missed the part of your post Lisa where you asked for opinions regarding whether to take YOUR CAR out of the trailer to drive it in inclement weather? Lol.

I hope you win another trophy at the show... You go!!

Thanks guys. You know I'm so proud of my cars. Heck any vette. I love these little cars.

Steve R I drive the dog out of my coupe. It's my DD and has 70K miles on it since new in March '08. So don't think they sit idle. The Z has 8500 on it since Jan '11. But the Z is my show car and I'm not willing to let Houston freeways muck it up. That being said - I am probably one of few on here that actually do drive my cars, sometimes even in the rain.

Vince, it's all good. Thanks - I'll get up your way soon - hopefullly with the Z and we'll do a photo op with that bad beautiful beast of yours. I think they would look totally awesome together!! Hope all is well with you and yours. And thx for the luck this next weekend. I'm so honored its in the banquet. Will keep you posted.

John, I hadn't had a countdown from you lately. I can't wait. I'm getting nervous already. I really want to gain more confidence this time. I've actually been going over the track in my head (aside from the new turn 8/9 that I haven't done yet). See you guys VERY soon!!!!
