Default How do you polish your chrome wheels?

What products do you guys use? My chrome wheels are in really good condition. They look good after washing them. I used never dull on them today then wiped off after using a soft microfiber towel. They look a little better i think. I just want to make sure they alsays stay in the best condition possible. I was a little worried at first that the material used in the never dull would damage or scratch the chrome wheels. Any input is appreciated.

I would like to know what you clean them with too....I was afraid to use Simple Green to clean the barrels or the chrome, and just used regular Mequiars wax to polish them with. Will watch this thread...

After washing & drying, I only hit them with a little of the same detail spray I use on the car and buff them out to remove any water spots (we have extremely hard water here).

Clean them with Adam's Wheel Cleaner, barrels too, then dry with soft microfiber, polish if needed using same polish you would use on paint, then seal them with Adam's Liquid Paint Sealant, barrels too.

Long lasting, durable, and makes maintenance cleaning pretty easy.

I use Rimwax by Smartwax. They look freshly chromed when done. Always get comments on my shiney wheels.

I've used Simple Green straight out of the bottle (not diluted) on mine and it didn't hurt a thing.

Whatever brand of wax i am using at the time. Right now, I use NXT2.0. A little goes a long way. Wax on, wax off.

If only covered in brake dust, I use the small California duster for my wheels only.
If there some water spot, ect... duster then detailer w/two microfiber towels , one to wipe up spray and second for quick polish.
That's literally it so far.

I like how you painted the rotors? Did you do them yourself? I just bought the mothers chrome polish. Pretty cheap about 7 dollars. I think it works pretty well. So i used never dull this morning which worked well but doesnt smell that good, mothers chrome polish smells good lol. I have adams buttery wax, i didnt know i could use car wax for the wheels. I guess i will tey that next time. I am obsessed with my car, you guys probably are also. Just got my exhaust on yesterday also!!

I've had a guy try to clean/polish the chrome spinners on an airplane with Never Dull. It took the chrome off and I had to have it re-chromed. I would just use a little diluted Simple Green or the other wheel specific cleaners then just a bit of your favorite brand of polish.

Not sure if it was the never dull that took the chrome off....it is used to polish chrome and metal. I doubt it would do that. I am going to try to use Adams buttery wax tomorrow just to see how it looks.

Mothers when they need it then wax. Detail spray for watermarks after baths.

I think they look okay and shine pretty well.

I wouldn't use Never Dull on anything with a chrome finish since it contains an abrasive. I use it occasionally on my NPP exhaust tips to remove stubborn stains, bit never on chrome. Use the same product that you apply to the paint and refresh with some detailer.
