Wheel options for base c6?
I'm weighing my options of going wide body on my 08 or just sticking with the base body lines. Does anyone have pictures of nicely done base cars they would like to share? I'd like to go with an 18/19 with the most tire I can run. I'm not really interested in reproduction wheels, but I'd love to see something like a set of forgelines or similar.
Thanks.
Thanks.

These are the wheels that I have on my base, IMHO, the best looking wheels that Corvette ever came out with, the C6 Zr1 style

I wouldn’t be selling my Cray Brickyards if I didn’t want to run a drag pack all the time. These are 275/35r18 tires on 18x9.5 fronts and 325/30r19 tires on 19x11 rears.

I went with the SR1 Apex wheels. I wanted something a bit more custom and what I really like about these is they have a deep wheel look as the spokes wrap in. Many Vette owners check them out because of the deep look. They come in a myriad of finishes and are totally customizable on order.

You fit 325 on the back of a narrowbody? Did you run into any issues or rubbing? Or did they poke out the side? (I have a narrowbody as well, and looking at whee/tire fitment options)

Yes, still on the stock narrowbody quarter panels with no rubbing whatsoever. There’s a very slight poke (running Hankook Ventura Evo2 tires) that people don’t even notice.

my opinion (with the wide body)....the best looking Corvette style since C1-C2

this car is on ebay right now...one of the better custom C5 base's (with wide body kit) I have seen (the color and custom interior work well for me)

I just ditched the OEM chrome rims and opted for the Stance SF03s gloss black 20" x 11 rear and 19" x 9.5 fronts sitting on Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.
