Default C6R Wide body kit by C7 Carbon >> New Product! From concept to Reality! Join in!

Hey guys! After a lot of requests to return to exterior body panel fabrication, we have decided to jump back into the Market and start things off with a new Wide body kit for the C6! We appreciate any feedback the community has while we are designing the parts to complete our first wide body kit for the corvettes! We are very excited to return our design focus to also include making exterior body panels again.

- This wide body kit will be produced in Cloth / Epoxy and built via closed molding to maximize the fabric to epoxy ratio and yield the strongest and lightest parts possible. The panels will come ready for your body shop to modify and install onto your C6 vette. Our wide body kit is 70mm wider front and back than the zr1 front and rear fenders.

Any guys with racing experience that liked or didn't like certain aspects of the C6 aero, let us know your feedback so we can revise any suggestions to help create the best version of the C6R possible.

Also if you are interested in a kit you can sign up below:

2.
3.
4. Etc.

Our C6R kit will include:
- Front Bumper and splitter / undertray
- Front Fenders
- Side Skirts / Rockers
- Rear quarter panels

- Rear bumper and diffuser

we will be updating our website and this thread with more pictures and information as this project progresses!

Cool concept for sure. Curious to see where you guys go with it. One thing I think worth noting is the differences in the headlights on the C6R, If my memory serves me correct from the last time I saw one in person it seemed slightly bigger than the factory headlight. May be worth digging into as it could throw the proportions off. One thing I don like about the racecar is the way the grill is moved forward and no longer recessed. I'm sure as far as aero/cooling goes, there's a reason but it isn't as aesthetically pleasing in my opinion. Sounds like you guys are onto something really cool and I look forward to seeing what you come up with!

Awesome, I removed the fog lights and have oil coolers there, any chance you'd be able to integrate something like that?

Bump! We finished our CAD design last night for our new C6 Wide body kit inspired by the C6R. 70mm Wider per side front and back. This kit is going to be the best you can get for your C6!

If fitment is good with little to no bodyshop f'kery...this will be a nice kit. Little too wide for my taste.

are the quarter panels and rear bumper, formed as one piece? I do not see a seam at the rear corner. also, is this offered with rear side marker lights?
lastly, i would prefer the look of the front end to have either optional driving / fog lights, or vent openings. too much blank real estate for my taste. it kind of looks like what you would see on a 1/4 mile dirt track car.
while the fit & finish looks great, that front end needs a bit more personality.

The rear quarter panels will be separate from the rear bumper cover, turn side marker lights are not included. The front bumper fascia is currently being developed without the openings for the fog lights, however, we'll make sure to post news if we have versions with fog lights openings available later on. Stay tuned for updates

It won't be street legal without the side marker lights. Also, as mentioned about the rear fascia, if your quarter panels are wider it will have that pinch look that is not shown in your rendering, so I don't think your rendering is reflecting what it will look like. Look at the other companies wider bodies and you will see what I mean. To be done right it would need the rear fascia to flare out to meet the flared rear quarter panels.
