OK, will order that one tomorrow morning - thanks. The M2W was sent out this afternoon according to the email I got. Easy to install yourself. I get the ZR1 on Saturday, M2W goes in on Sunday!
Once I recover from the cash outlay shock of buying the car on Sat (no payments) I am gonna think about the Akro exhaust. I do NOT plan to mod this car much and want it to stay under warranty. Any idea how much h/p added on a ZR-1? I believe it adds 12-15 on a Z06...![Big Ears](https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/images/smilies/bigear.gif)

Thanks...
We did do an Akrapovic install on a ZR1 but did not do before and after dyno. I would guess HP numbers would be similar to the Z06---10HP would be a safe bet....

The rumble is awesome. Souds like a big block. I set it up so i can use it from the sunvisor (home link) as well.

You mentioned earlier that if you leave your car sit for weeks like during the winter to put a tender or trickle charger on the battery. I haven't received my M2W yet (just ordered Friday) but it sounds like the install is easy so why not just un-install it while you put your car up for the winter?
Thanks
Thanks

My Z06 sat for 3 weeks without a charger with the switch installed and it was ok....4 weeks, and it drained it out dry

Keep in mind, the M2W switch draws no more current than a dash clock, very minimal.
Most Vettes will not last more than 4 weeks without the switch installed without a Battery Charger connected up to it.
There is no drain install also which is detailed in the instructions if battery drain is a concern....
Thanks,
Jim

This was so easy to install. I used a pair of pliers and installed the mild to wild kit in 5 minutes. And I'm not kidding, it was very simple. Thank you for the fast shipping and easy to follow install pdf. I will tell everyone I know about your company and this incredible product. Again Thank you!!!!

Ordered today, sick of pulling the fuse out on occasion. For me, its perfect to enjoy the quiet ride putting around but to be able to kick it on when pulling into a cruise in or show. Thanks!

I just received my M2W switch from you and installed it this week. I had one in my 08 Z06 so I'm familiar with the install and function. My question is this: with the switch open and engine deaccelerating, I've noticed a "popping" sound like a small backfire. Is this normal or have I installed it incorrectly? Any ideas? I didn't have this issue with the Z06.

Get to someone with HP Tuner or similar tuning program. Go to the Clutch Fuel Cut Off settings and move them to 3000 rpm and 80 mph. The problem is the system engages fuel cut off at low rpm and speed and you hear the lean pop when the butterflies are open. Won't cause problems if left stock but it is annoying..

Out of town and away from my ZR1, so question:
I already have a M2W setup which came with the car (with the foot pedal switch). I am about to install a Curb Alert. If I remember correctly, doesn't the M2W draw power from the seat heater fuse? If so then what fuse location do you draw power for the Curb Alert module?
If the M2W is not connected to the seat heater location then I have no problem. Just figured I would check while thinking about it. thanks.
