Mobil 1.

The only time I would even consider otherwise is if I tracked the car on a consistent basis..then I would be more concerned with Oil analysis etc...

AMSOIL here.

I am a dealer as well so if anybody needs anything, feel free to PM me. After doing some research on oils to use in all our LSx based vehicles ('06 Z06, '05 GTO, '07 Trailblazer SS, '07 Chevy Z71 truck) I started running AMSOIL and recently signed up as a dealer.

Their Preferred Customer program is great and I have many people taking advantage of purchasing direct from AMSOIL for wholesale prices and having it shipped to their front door. PM me for more info if you are interested.

Castrol Edge. Got a good report on the oil analysis.

But...probably going to switch to Amsoil 10w40 for the higher zinc.

I switch between Penzoil Platinum and Castrol Edge.

Mobil 1 is fine, but there are better oils. Just because it's stamped on the oil resevoir cap, doesn't necessarily mean it's the best.

I will probably look into Pennzoil Ultra once I run out of the 4 jugs of Castrol I have left.

If you begin to purchase it, please use my referral number and support a local Corvette brutha.

The preferred Customer program is a great way to save money on purchases.

You're right, I simply means that Mobil1 won the bid for the factory fill. Just like getting construction work done, you go with the lowest bidder most of the time.
