we have a black GS at my job, im loving the red stripes on the fenders. i was thinking of getting a set for my 08 zo6. i guess i can always peel em off..... to me it looks killer with the red calipers, emblems, seats, ect....together it all just pops. i know we have a mixed bag of thoughts on this. but eh whatever, like i said i can always peel em off. probably get em for free at work, im going for it.

Sorry to bring back old thread.. Any pics of Black Z with Red hash? (maybe a silver or white edge would make it even better I think) (I know,, after everyone saying you don't want to be GS poser, you don't want to post pics even if you have them... Who cares? It's your car.. If you like them, be proud of your car and show us)

Saw a 427 vert with stripes and hash marks......yuck, way to clutered and busy looking for my taste.

I do like the hash marks on the GS, I would never put them on a Z06.

i still havnt got them yet. i will eventually. ive been comparing the OE kit to the reproductiuon set. i must say although the differences are minor, if i do get a stripe kit it will be OE. the factory set has the extra thin stripe around the edges and the small cross flags in the corner. i know small details to worry about, but it would bother me. im waiting to see if somebody will make a nicer set, closer to OE.

OK, I think we have finally got this figured out. Vettestripes.com offers a fender stripe that fits perfect on the Z. This is not the 1/2 way up GS stripe, and we are not doing both fenders so no need for the "Posers" to get worked up. Not sure about other colors, but the Red on Black works well:
