wife has a 2003 Honda accord, I have a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado Crewcab..............
and my pride and joy is my 2007 Z06................
oh and my son keeps his 2004 Harley Springer Softail in my garage so as his rental fee, I'm permitted to use it as well...............
now the funny thing is................why do I feel like I'm missing something??????????????????????????????? ???
why am I looking at Cosworth Vegas? Karman Ghias? Corvairs? a new Honda Civic... I think I need help or a larger garage and a fatter wallet.

05/06 Ford GT. No doubt about it. I am surprised to see so many other "Vette" guys who would do so as well. It's a natural for me being a "Ford" guy. Like other SVT's, awesome potential with just a pulley and a tune.

I definitely dont need to sell the Z at all I was just debating another toy of equal value...
but I really do love my z06 I just got the Corsa on it and im gonna pick up a MGW short throw as per my other thread and have some fun !
when i do get a new job im probably gonna pick up a new m3 coupe, GT500 or a escalade ext and keep my z obviously

If I was forced to get rid of my Z and replace it with something else other than a C6 Z06 it would be (in order of preferance)
1. a 1969 427 tri-power 435 horsepower c3 corvette.
2. 2008 or above Dodge Viper(600Horse)
3. 2010 or later model CTS-V
4. C6 ZR1.(Zr1 is last because it is too similiar looking and similiar in characteristics to a C6 Z06)
Lots of older muscle cars and the later model 500 HP+ rustangs are cool, but they would not hold my attention as long as my z06 or the 4 cars named above.

Agree with most there is no comparison for the money but if I had an offer I couldn't refuse from realistic to unrealistic................

Honestly, I LOVE my Z06. I've had it for 4 yrs now and I really, really love it. It would be impossible to find anything that looks as good, sounds as good, or performs as good as the Z06 in its price range. While it is not entirely practical, it does still get me 26-28 MPG on the highway, is comfortable, plenty of truck space and pretty civil to drive normally.
There are TONS of nice cars out there that look great, sound great and perform great as well. But to find all those attributes in an affordable pkge these days is impossible(of course, that depends on what you consider affordable). The Z06 IS the ultimate pkge. Thats why I hope to NEVER part with my Z06. I'll just add to my stable. I'd love a Ford GT(who wouldnt?), Ferrari F430 Scudderia, Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera, Aston Martin DBS, new M5, CTS-V, CLS63 AMG, etc.......
