Thankfully the dealer I just bought my ZR1 from did this for me.

I think the Gry/Blk 3LZ interior really makes a difference. Beautiful car.
I was looking for a Z06 this time last year. As I remember, the market was in a similar state. Of cars that were selling:
- Very low mileage 06's were $44K to $46K.
- Very low mileage 07's were $45K to $48K.
- Very low mileage 08's were $49K to $53K.
Yes, there were people asking more but with a few exceptions, they were not selling. I made offers on several cars with about 3K miles. In each case my offer was the low end of the above ranges. In each case the 3K mile cars sold for the top end of the above ranges. I ended up buying and 06 (which I'm crazy about) but I had to go with one with a few more miles to get what I was willing to pay. My 06 was a perfect, one owner, 12K mile car for $41K.
$45K would be a great price if you wanted to sell quickly by giving the car away. I certainly wouldn't. I'm thinking this economy is going to affect the price for even a highly motivated buyer (like me last year). In a similar economy (this time last year) I saw cars like your selling for $53K. With where things are today, I don't know that you could get $55K, I'm thinking you could easily hold out for $50K to $52K.

If 08's are really getting 55K in NY, then they should get about the same in LA. Tell you what the first one PM's me can have my stock 08 JSB 2LZ with comp gray wheels, 13,xxxx miles, Kenwood nav including reverse cam and brand new Michelin PS2's for 55K. Heck I'll even sell it to a Canadian for that price!

Hell, who wouldn't buy for 45k. I know I would. On a serious note though really depends on how quick you want to sell it. This being said because the longer it sits the less you will make off of it. GLWS!!!

Used cars are at all time highs due to short supply (due to the downturn in 2008). Most people trade cars every 2-3 years, but in 2008 and on people were holding on to their cars and not buying new. This has left short supply. I could sell my Z today for what I bought it for (private party) back in December. (Or at least very close)
I would think 51-53 would be a reasonable price and would be about average.

Your car should sell at about $52.5K, and that's a good deal.
You have a good color combo and ultra low miles.
Don't listen to want-a-be used car salesmen. I've been to many mayheim auctions, most of the cars at auction are there for a reason. The good trade-ins stay on the dealer's lots (like yours).
Good Luck, and don't sell short.

Black book, ah yes, made by dealers for dealers... I'm going to create the gold book, made by consumers for consumers lol
Gm is offering 0% for 2010 and like 1.99 for 2011. Even in a bad economy, your paycheck didn't drop... For ally of people it comes down to payments, so when you factor in interest on a used car vs a heavily discounted vette at 0%, guess what, used cars aren't gonna move fast or at top prices... So it's really not the state of the economy, rather it is the incentives that are not helping the use market...

Did you try to sell it or just decide to keep it? After I put mine on the market for a week and got a bunch of "I have cash" low ball offers I decided to keep mine too. I have less than a year left to payoff my 0% GM loan so why get rid of a great ride that I can payoff anytime now? You definitely made the right choice!
