Default Anybody Break Their Pressure Plate Straps Yet?

I have a ZR1 clutch in an LS7 based motor and recently broke one of the straps on the pressure plate. My understanding is that they can buckle under deceleration when used on a road course. Just wondering how common this may be. Thanks.

You need to learn heel and toe.

Thanks for the response but I think I've got that part figured out.

I know of one that failed behind an N/A LS3 at the drag strip...

A well driven car on the road course puts little stress on the clutch. Drag strip, that's another story.

What happened, how did it break?
