Does anyone know if the screen will still mount when using the JL Audio Subs where the rear speakers go? I can see it will block them but can it still be installed?

Wind Restrictor...any problem with top up window down
Would the restrictor cause any problems if you drive with the top up and just the driver side window down? or if you drive with the top up and both windows down? Would it cause any turbulence inside or make the top want to flap or anything. Another post I read someplace said that their rear glass had broken out when they rolled the driver side window down with the top up.
I drive a lot with the top up and just the driver side window down and didn't want to create a problem with the restrictor if I put one in.

Never ever heard of anyone having their rear glass broken out. It
would be impossible. It does not even come close to touching the
rear glass...

Chip,
I am aware of how its mounted and that it will not touch or interefere with the rear window or top, as I saw one in a car in Dallas and really looked it over well. I have done quite a bit of research on this and watched the installation video.
In one of these threads, I read where a rear window was allegedly broken out by turbulence created by the windrestrictor, when the top of the car was up, and the driver had rolled down his driver side window. He said it started some sort of wind disruption that allegedly broke out the rear window.
My question is, is that possible? Have they had any of these reported? Like I said in my previous entry, I drive a lot with my top up and the drivers window, and sometimes both windows down. I didn't what to buy one of these if it would cause some sort of problem with the rear glass breaking or the top flapping from some strange wind disruption caused with the top being up.
I like the product and if I can get an answer, I will probably place a order.

C5 and C6 and we have never heard of such a thing. It's a product that
we never have a problem with. Out of every si glee one we have sold,
we have only had one return and that was because the guy did not think
he could wire it.
It is about as worry free of a product as we carry.

Chip, I was looking at your website and saw that there is a restrictor for 2005-2011 and 2012-2013. Is this due to the seats? I have a 2006 base that I put 2012 seats in. Do I need the 2012-13 version? I know the bolsters and latch are different on the seats I have. Thanks in advance

Old school yes, new school no
The bracket was re-engineered so it fits both now...
Does not matter which one you order now, you will get the
New bracket which fits all years
