Questions
599 flywheel hp for the 1591 and 554 flywheel for the 1590. The standard 1590 kit is easily a DITY job....the 1591 kit requires a fuel pump swap and it is one big PITA..not recommended for the average do-it-yourself guy. The 1590 and 1591 kits are identical with the exception of the pulley and the fuel pump. Get a 1590, buy the Edelbrock $35.00 smaller pulley and a BAP and you just saved yourself about 4-8 hrs of work by not having to drop the tank...not to mention the headache that goes along with it. Same "canned" Edelbrock tune ships for both applications. Experienced tuners like EnglandGreen can no doubt squeeze more power out of these combos with the right tweaks!
2) What size is the $35 smaller pulley and do they have a smaller one for even more boost?
3) Just double checking, the 1590/1591 use the "same" tune.

1) BAP= BOOST A PUMP right? Which is the most reliable brand to go with and will a 2010 GS pump stand up over the long haul? I have read mixed reviews on using a BAP.

2) Edelbrock sells five size pulleys for the E-Force; the 1590 kit comes with a 3.875" pulley, the 1591 kit comes with a 3.5" pulley. If you want to get brave they also sell a 3.25", a 3.00" and a 2.75" pulley http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_...cted_acc.shtml
3) It is a single conservative configuration on the handheld tuner...supports the 1590 or 1591. Looks like they just released an update to the tune on 7 June... http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_...oft-tech.shtml

The pulley that we used on this Vette is a 3.5" pulley. Edelbrock does make a smaller pulley but I would not recommend going smaller on a stock block.
I do not know the answer to number 3 for a fact but I would say they do not. The fuel maps will need to be changed a little between the two, as well as your air flow tables. If it is the same, it would be a very conservative tune as Motorhead-47 stated.

The E-Force ships with a canned tune for otherwise stocks cars. It comes on a handheld tuner that takes just a couple of minutes to squirt the update to your ECU in your driveway. It is not locked. To be fair to the vendor that posted this original thread please be sure to give him a shot at earning your business whether it be an outright mailorder purchase or a turnkey upgrade at his shop.
I noticed you are in my corner of the country. If you ever happen to get over to the western most side of the state I'd be glad to show you an E-Force installed and maybe give you a few minutes behind the wheel. I completed my install in my garage back in April. WARNING though!...you absolutely will be hooked if you drive it!

Haven't heard the LS2 pricing yet but I suspect it will be the same, around $6495.00 for the kit. You have A&A Corvettes and RPM Motors in Cali, not sure of anyone further North.

I think what's keeping me from getting this installed is that I just bought an extended warranty when I bought my Corvette last month.
Any thoughts on my paranoia.
