Default *** Edelbrock E-Force LS3 Install Special [PICS] - Pre-Order your LS2 Now! ***

As we all know, there is a new supercharger on the market for the LS3 and its name is the Edelbrock E-Force! It has a super clean install and fits nice and tidy under the stock Corvette hood. When we saw this unit at PRI in Orlando it looked very promising. Now that they are starting to ship regularly we are installing them and of course, we are an authorized Edelbrock dealer.

Also, I spoke to Edelbrock yesterday and the LS2 E-Force is scheduled for delivery at the end of July so we are taking pre-orders for them now. Pre-orders will be shipped out first and we have 2 spoken for already. The LS7 version is due out in September. No definite date on the C5 Vettes but they will be coming.

What is included with the EnglandGreen E-Force package?
  • Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger
  • Fuel system upgrades
  • 160 degree thermostat
  • NGK TR6 Plugs
  • Edelbrock intercooler system
  • Edelbrock base warranty
  • Complete Installation (includes all fluids and gaskets)
  • Custom Dyno Tuning (with before and after printout)

$9,995.00 installed and tuned!

The beauty of forced induction is you have a car that drives exactly as it does stock until you put your foot on the gas, then all hell breaks loose! The instant torque of a positive displacement blower makes an all around FUN vehicle to drive! This system is practically stealth particularly since it fits under the stock hood!

If you want to kick it up a notch we will be offering our Havoc blower cam kit installed at $1,995.00 (normally $2995.00 installed and tuned) while doing E-Force at the same time. With this kit, you will see a significant horsepower increase. This is a COMPLETE kit! You will get no switch and bait from EnglandGreen, this kit includes everything you need so there is no up-selling. You will get the standard size SFI pulley instead of our normal 25% underdrive with our cam kits. Our cam kit includes our custom Havoc blower cam, dual valve springs, chromoly pushrods, front cover gasket, front cover seal, water pump gaskets, crank bolt, timing chain, oil pickup o-ring and a high volume high flow oil pump.

Feel free to call with any questions and we will be happy to help you!

Jason

Here are some numbers in the sweltering Houston heat of 96 degrees and 78% humidity. 505 rwhp and 520 rwtq, roughly 580HP at the crank

Did you have to do any retuning with the headers? Or did you just use the edelbrock tuning software? Is this the base 550hp kit? Or the 599hp kit?

Default No specs on ls2, yet

As much as I would like to get one I would like to see the Specs just like it is presented here for the LS3. Also Will it accept some compression since I have Trick Flow Heads ? ( Ls2)

We did not use the handheld tuner software and yes, you would need to tune it for headers.

We have two coming into the shop as soon as we get the kits.

Correct.

I've seen one of these locally and it's a very clean install.

Modified 1590 kit. If you are doing a self install, purchase the 1591 kit if you want more power. Edelbrock designed these kits with the self installer in mind, and a fantastic job they did! It is a complete kit for the DIY'er.

From what I have gathered from the forum it looks like you made a pulley change on that Modified 1590 kit?

Yes. My apologies for being unclear, it must of been another thread I posted that in. We are using a smaller pulley with the 1590 kit and added a BAP, spark plugs, and a thermostat to the kit.

599 flywheel hp for the 1591 and 554 flywheel for the 1590. The standard 1590 kit is easily a DITY job....the 1591 kit requires a fuel pump swap and it is one big PITA..not recommended for the average do-it-yourself guy. The 1590 and 1591 kits are identical with the exception of the pulley and the fuel pump. Get a 1590, buy the Edelbrock $35.00 smaller pulley and a BAP and you just saved yourself about 4-8 hrs of work by not having to drop the tank...not to mention the headache that goes along with it. Same "canned" Edelbrock tune ships for both applications. Experienced tuners like EnglandGreen can no doubt squeeze more power out of these combos with the right tweaks!

Is the Edelbrock tune locked? Do I need to send them my ECM? I have EFILive and can load any tune. I can do the BAP and pulley so that sounds better. I have a good tuner in this area so the tune can be tweaked for the extra 50 ponies.

The E-Force ships with a canned tune for otherwise stocks cars. It comes on a handheld tuner that takes just a couple of minutes to squirt the update to your ECU in your driveway. It is not locked. To be fair to the vendor that posted this original thread please be sure to give him a shot at earning your business whether it be an outright mailorder purchase or a turnkey upgrade at his shop.

I noticed you are in my corner of the country. If you ever happen to get over to the western most side of the state I'd be glad to show you an E-Force installed and maybe give you a few minutes behind the wheel. I completed my install in my garage back in April. WARNING though!...you absolutely will be hooked if you drive it!
