Well it won't satisfy me for that long, lol....

I feel that 3.42 gears are in my not so distant future.

Don't be surprised to find that your Torque exceeds your Horsepower. I had gains as much as 42 RWTQ at certain points along the Curve like
around 4800 RPM. The Ported FAST was my best mod before I moved on to a H&C. Your right, get it tuned by a reputable tuner. If you need any help drop me a PM. Leon

Gears will feel better than the FAST. Trust me. I like my FAST but I LOVE my 4:10's. The FAST you don't feel when just daily driving, only when you get on it. The gears you feel every time the car moves. It feels like the car lost 500 lbs!

Yeah, my Firebrid that I replaced with this C6 had 4.10s in it and it was an animal coming up from the 3.08s it had.

I can't wait to jump from 2.56s to 3.42s

It's getting tuned this Friday. We're going to do street tuning first for part throttle and then take it to the dyno for the WOT curve.

It'll be done by Auto Adrenaline Performance here in Houston which is a newer shop that is putting out quality results and I know the owner will go the extra mile to make sure it's performing to it's max.

I'll post results this weekend and HOPEFULLY I can get to the track on Saturday if the rain holds off.

Sounds like a plan. Its nice to see the differences of the two curves right
on the dyno sheet then you know exactly what you got out of the Mod.
Of course the Strip performance will be a validation of the Mod and the
Car & Driver. You just might make that 10 sec but don't be disapointed
Going from 11.40 to 10.9x takes quite a bit. I know the Diff is expensive
but it will feel like you have another 50 Rw when you take that Leap.
Good luck on Friday . Leon

Well the tuning will be on a different dyno....so, yeah, it's just going to be a tuning tool. Can't really do before/after comparison that way.

The only performance measure I care about is at the track. I was trapping right under 120 before (119.8) so I'll see what I pick up with this mod.

I'm also not anticipating running 10's with my current setup. I think I'll at least need gears and skinnies. I'm hoping to run it to an 11.2 in good weather.

Verranice.

I, too, recommend the gears. I went with the 3.42's.

In March/April, I have a cam and fast90 going in and then it's done. I hope. High 10sec car is all I need.

Yeah...just need to snag a sweet deal on a Z rear like you did and I'll be set
