Are LS3's faster than LS2's in 1/4 mile??
I have been seeing alot of threads of LS2's running in the 10's, what about LS3's where you at??

not getting into the 10's with the LS2 or LS3 without some pretty serious mods. Stock the LS3 is a little faster. I have been in both and a LS7 and the LS2 and LS3 seem really close. (I have headers on my LS2 and couldn't tell what is what) LS7 is much faster. A SC on either and they are so close you can't tell a difference.

I did alot of research on this over the past year before purchasing an
'08 / LS3. I determined from the "fast lists" and dyno sheets that the LS3's 36hp over the ls2 is enough to prove that overall an ls3 will outperform an ls2 but so slightly that its a drivers race in the 1st place.... but enough for me to pay a little more for an 08. also the 08's recieved a new TR6060 transmission and many other upgrades/features. It was worth the extra 2-3k for an 08 to me, to get the most I could stock for the price.
