Hey General Motors,
You know, the lack of real information about the C7 is becoming really annoying. Those of us who are members of the various vette forums are your biggest fan base, and the folks most likely to promote and buy the car.
We deserve better. Step up to the plate and give us at least a small preview.

We may be fans and enthusiasts, but secrecy in the automotive world with respect to new models - especially a halo car like the Corvette - is beyond paramount for maintaining an advantage over the competition.

The guy who stumbled onto the car carrier at the San Francisco commercial shoot tipped the real car, and the Blue Devil was found and posted by a guy on the shipping dock.
Brenda Priddy has eyes everywhere and, with the exception of TCW on here, everyone and their dog has a cellphone camera.

i was at a show two weeks ago, and a guy told me that they are gonna run turboed 6 cylinder in the C7 thats the only way GM can meet the EPA standards anybody else hear anything like that, EPA needs to stay out of the car industry

That is a C6, you say it is different, thats just because it's a crappy drawing of one. In my opinion if it looks anything like that, then chevy has failed. we already have that, and it's time for a completely different design.
I'm hoping for a wider lower looking stance, more like a euro exotic, or a Cadillac Cien Concept, that would be sick!

I get what you all are saying here, its just that when i looked at the drawing and then a pic of my own car it was almost like im looking at two different designs.
Anyway, we all see things differently i suppose. Nothing wrong with that.

Shoot a picture of your car from the same ground level angle. THere are some liberties in the illustration with the height of the greenhouse and the tire gaps, but the proportions are pretty close from a hand drawing standpoint.

I think this illustrates the liberties you mention with the greenhouse height, also what i mentioned before about the angle of the A & B pillars, and the front end is much more pointed on the drawing than it is on the actual car.

I doubt the final decisions on what the car will look like have been made yet.
I would bet on vertical headlights in the fenders & maybe an air extractor hood.
