I notice your two center pipes are significantly cleaner than the outside. I know the difference is caused by the butterfly valves, but do you have excessive soot buildup, or is it just in need of some good TLC?

Wow!! Only a corvette enthusiast would look at that picture and ask that question. Which, by the way, happens to be a good question.

I don't know where you live, but I'd dang sure have a garage I could park in with that weather.

The two pipes seem to get like that every couple weeks. I haven't gotten a chance to wash the car lately.

I bet he just hasn't cleaned them lately. For those wondering why the outer tips get dirtier, this graphic is helpful in understanding that the carbon gets spread out in the mufflers before getting to the inner tips while the carbon goes directly through on the outer ones.

Great visual thanks.

I don't seem to have the situation on my C7 and, yes, I have the performance exhaust.

I may be wrong, but I'm guessing you do not have a garage, or it's not accessible ? Just wondering

Interesting...I live in Las Vegas and came up behind a new one in Summerlin and his pipes looked the same...I thought it was very strange that two were shiny and two were not. And it's caused by having dual mode exhaust?
