I'm thinking carguy123 thinks he's too cool (young) to wave and has no problem breaking one of the most basic and fundamental rules of driving a Corvette. SAD!

I wave at every Vette that I notice. I also don't keep score as to what others do back.

I saw a C7 coming towards me the other day and I almost waved ,but then I realized I was in my pickup truck at the time. So, I didn't.

Yeah, that happens to me when I'm driving the Acura RDX.

Today My wife and I were coming up on a yellow C5 vert at a stop light. I started lowering my window since my glass is tinted. There was a boy in the passenger seat that had turned around and was watching my C7 Z06 approach. As we got close enough I put my hand out and waved as I pulled past them in the other lane. They both waved back.

Later the same day, on the Foothills parkway near Gatlingburg TN, a black viper was coming toward us. He waved and of course I waved back. Had a couple Porshe cars go by with thumbs up. No other vettes today, but a few mustangs that revved their engines when they went by.

While driving casually through traffic today, a guy in a new GTI managed to merge through traffic with me. He gave me a wave as he turned off. If someone has a nice car and can drive it, they deserve a wave. Beats the oblivious crowd every time.

That's quite funny, because a couple of days ago, I walked out of my favorite grocery store, and parked my cart against the pillar next to the doors, and proceeded out to my car, which was parked in the next to the last slot. Litterally

As I was walking to my car , a very nice C5 Vert drove past me and I waved at her , and almost felt embarrassed, because she looked at me like I was an alien.

I arrived at my car, at the exact same time she pulled up in the very last spot right next to me. All of a sudden we were in the same club. She even made a comment about finding the best spots in the lot, and how my car would shield her.

I drove back to get my groceries from the curb, and she and her son walked back at about the same time.

We waved at each other at that point,

I'm 100% for C7 waves. I may be 100% for C6 and C5 but C3s don't seem to wave. I don't think I've seen any C2s/1s on the road.

i hope they can see me wave back. Maybe I'll put the window down from now on. It can be challenging though to do that quickly in heavy traffic w/a M7.

Being a prior Jeep owner ('99 Wrangler Sahara) and Vette owner ('84) I'm used to the wave and do it all the time in my new C7. The tinted windows do make it a bit difficult to see me and if I don't have the time to get a window down, I'll usually give a quick flash of the headlights. Most of the time I get a wave, light flash, or honk back.
