Car looks fantastic, I know Mike, hes my detailer and does great job.
So you have to just wash and no waxing anymore?
Dude that's good to hear that you know him too! Yeah he had several cars in there much higher end than mine and they all looked crazy good, so that helped a little haha!
Yup, no wax for (at least) 4 years... THAT'S WORTH IT! lol

Looks awesome! I just ceramic coated my car recently, too me 3 days and about 5 to 6 hours to do each day did a 3 step paint correction at home (my first time). But was deff worth it, the paint looked horrible before. Now it's literally like looking in a mirror. BTW sorry to Hijack! Your car looks Great!

WOW that looks awesome! I was frankly not confident enough to start the correction on this car having little experience. Going to try on the old Jeep at some point, but couldn't wait for that to get this done.
Seriously, AMAZING JOB! WOW!!! There is just nothing better than a properly care for BLACK car....
It looks great.
I have an ELB with the carbon flash hash marks on order. Can't wait.
Not trying to hijack the thread but here's my ELB Z with suntek back to the doors and ceramic pro on the entire car (over the ppf there is a specific topcoat for film). I can tell you, the combo of the suntek and the ceramic topcoat, bugs basically hose right off, barely have to wipe them off. So much easier to clean and the shine is amazing. I know ceramic pro is different from Xpel but I really like the way mine turned out!

DAAAANG! Funny, I've always been a BLACK ONLY car guy and was semi forced into a dark blue 2015 Mustang (long story). All of the sudden I like blue cars. That ELB is amazing looking, and wow what a shine!!!

I only have the wrap on the lights so far, because I am cheap LOL. That must be an amazing combo!
OP that looks so nice!!! I need to learn more about the XPEL process. I'm thinking about having it done on my Sebring Orange GS after seeing yours! Can you describe or point me to a thread describing the process please!

Hey bud, THANKS!
To my knowledge XPEL is not yet selling this to the public. You have to get it installed by a “certified tech”. In my case I wanted the paint prepped properly before doing a coat so I left it to the pro. I’m glad I did!
After coming to terms with the fact that I am an under the hood guy more than an over the hood type, I decided that the Grand Sport needed to be properly prepped and ceramic coated by someone not me. Looked at a few places and found a local guy that was doing the recently released XPEL Fusion Plus ceramic coating. The idea of a four year warranty and seeing this stuff on a car was enough to force me out of the cash that I usually have a tighter grip on, and so I let it go.
Let me first say THANK YOU to Michael over at Dynamic Auto Spa in Forsyth County, GA. He spent SEVERAL hours cleaning, correcting, and prepping this car before putting this stuff on, and it looks like a totally different beast to me. Color is darker (got the muck out of the clear), and the shine is crazy. Honestly I was apprehensive going into this, but am tremendously pleased with how it came out! Can't say enough good things about that guy and his business. WELL DONE!
I will continuously update this thread with the short, mid, and long term results of this stuff, consider me the beta tester.
OK, I'll shut up. Here are the pics!
Was NOT a sunny day, so more to come when the clouds go away...
EDIT: Michael sent me FAR BETTER pics than I had, so see below

THANK YOU! Stuff is amazing. I wound up driving in a rain storm most of the night yesterday, and parked it in the garage in the dark. This morning when I went into work I expected to see a filthy beast, this is what I saw (just a little muck on the rear and lowers, WOW!!!)...
Excellent video on paint correction, film and ceramic coating I learned a lot from it! Is there a way to search for an installer in my area of upstate NY capital district Albany area?
