Hey Senior (@edspec) - are those FF10's fully forged by any chance? Just curious. I like the look!
Yes they are mono block full forged. Tire Rack are their exclusive retailer. If you go to their web site the talk about how their wheels are forged from a single block of aluminum

This is a very good question. I'm wondering the same. Is it possible these are just rotary forged being labeled "forged" by tire rack? The price they're asking is more of the rotary forged level. There are no mono-block forged rims out there (that I know of) at this price.
IMHO, I would never get painted wheels again after my 2015 C7. I got really bad curb rash and could not find someone who could recondition them because of the paint. Replacement or nothing. Getting Chrome wheels reconditioned on my 2019 C7, is no problem. I think they look better too. Makes the whole look pop. I did eventually find someone who does spot touch ups who can make curb rash on painted wheels look like new. So there’s that to consider.
We, and many others on this forum, have had painted wheels repaired after curb rash. Any wheel repair guy who knows his stuff will blend out the scrapes and then airbrush a matching paint in less than an hour, usually with the wheels still on the car. The only problems come if the scratches are so deep that they effect the strength of the wheel, or you have some oddball paint that's hard to match.
OTOH, the two guys I know around here who curbed a chrome wheel, had to send them to another state to strip the chrome and replate.
I have been looking at the same rims. It would be nice to know the quality, how they would do for track use. When I looked at tire rack they would ship tires and rims to a local installer for mounting.

Yeah the one downside is there just isn't much history with these wheels to go by but by looking at the forging process and materials used according to the manufacturers website and the low weight of the wheels, everything appears to be very similar to the other forged wheels. In any case, I am tired of having to replace/repair the crappy OEM wheels every other month, so I expect these to be a ton better.
Also, not having to deal directly with Tire Rack AND getting them for less than the advertised price was a nice bonus.
Interesting note, if you call the phone number on the Forged One Competition web page - Savini Wheels answers. The phone # for both companies are the same and it looks like Savini Wheels have been sold on this site by vendors for years.
Just checking in as i'm thinking about ordering a set for track use. Anyone have any updates? How have the wheels held up to track duty? Any issues with the tires rotating on the wheels?
I can't speak to track duty but for the same every day driving that had me having to replace cracked wheels every other month, they have held up great.
