2019 C7 top mis-alignment
I'm a newbie. The top on my coup has this annoying air leak sound at speed. I've silicon-ed all the seals around the top and where the top attaches to the car. I've also treated the rear cargo area seals but to no avail. With the top on and latched in place you can see an obvious mis-allignment to the top of the car. I see no obvious way to correct this. Can it BE corrected, and can I do it, or is this strictly a dealer job. I'm pretty handy but don't want to screw it up. Thanks, Dan

You may need to adjust the latches to bring the tops down more securely on the weatherstripping.

The poor alignment is associated in the back of the top, naturally on both sides. The compression of the seals seems to be be adequate. I did attempt to increase the tension on the rear threaded "hook" but it is so tight I was afraid to snap it off. I'll take some pics and re-post. One question, being new to the forum, how do I transfer from my system to the thread? Will "Manage Attachments" below allow me access to the photos on my PC?

There is a set screw that you will have to loosen before you can turn to tighten the hook.
If you don't do that, you will snap it off.
I'd attach a picture, but my car is in the shop and I don't have access to it.

Make your adjustments one turn at a time and see where it's at. You don't want to turn it too many turns and break the hook. There has to be a sweet spot for it.
Make your adjustments with the windows rolled down and once you are satisfied with the alignment , tighten your set screw and re-index your windows.
Does the latch closes fairly easy or is it hard to latch as is? You should see the back come down a bit when you latch the hook.

I will try the hook and that will bring the high side down but that will also make the side already low to be lower. Is there a way to shift the back of the top over? This would need the alignment holes at the rear of the car body to move, or the mating "pins" on the top to move. I don't see any adjustment capability on either. Then again I didn't see that set screw either

Based on the pictures of the driver side and passenger side, the driver side weatherstrip does not look to be correctly installed and is causing the roof to be higher than it is supposed to be and not sealing correctly. Check for the weatherstrip to be uniformly installed on the car and not damaged.

Something isn't right.
Do you have a friend with a C7? Try installing and gently latching it. If it's still mis-aligned, the problem is in your car body. If it looks ok, then your current roof needs adjustment or repair.

A good dealer can fix this problem, but not all dealers are good.
The Tech at our dealer is a wizard at fixing mechanical and electrical problems but not so enthused about minor body panel problems- can take a lot of his time and customer's dollars, with uncertain results.
A body shop familiar with recent model Corvettes could be your best bet, (C5/C6/C7) are all similar.
IIRC, the rear locator pins on the top slide into cups in front face the halo that are mostly hidden by the plastic trim but can be adjusted.
The J-hook at the rear of the removable top mostly pulls the top rearward but also pulls it down slightly.
And the weatherstrip could be damaged or misaligned.
As corvettezman posted, be sure to do any adjustments with the windows down, and reindex later (in owner manual). Remove top first, too.
When did the problem first show up? Are you the first owner? Any history of top problems or body damage in the past?
If there's a Corvette club in your area, those people can either help you find the best person to fix your problem or even help to diagnose.
You can also have a great time with a local club if the people are a good fit for you.
If something doesn't fit right, it's very helpful to do a side-by-side comparison with a car that is ok.
