I sold my 2016 Z06 after 4000 miles due to Track and cooling limitations, it was not fun to go hard and experience power loss after 2-3 laps when wheels started to get hot and ready for duty...
So now i plan to buy and build up a GS to be faster than C7 Z06 without overheating and power loss....
Weight loss is also planned with battery, seats Tires/wheel and exhaust modifications.
CF diffuser and Front splitter with side skirt aftermarket or stock products ?
Any suggestion for a complete package ?
Will a 427 build be better suited for the A8 as a Daily Driver.....

So anyone that will take a GS A8 and make a fast track toy that also will serve as a DD can go this route ?

Fuel here is 102 octane RON Europe standard and that is close to 96 octane US std (Ron+mon/2)
price is Euro 1.6 pr liter so close to $6 gallon....
I just want a car that can take track usage and not overheat.... and be as fast or faster than our C7 Z06.....
![Thumbs Up](https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
Will buy car and registrate it in US first 5-6 months before shipping it over, april 2017
So lets see if Katech has the right package
Regards

Yes, this package could be suited to a daily driver or light HPDE car. Limitations will be the longevity of stock bottom end in heavier road race conditions and the capability of the stock dry sump system. The 427 would be better suited with the forged bottom end and the optional upgraded dry sump system. It's still a good daily driver and makes 700hp instead of the 600hp head/cam.

Surprised more people aren't going this route. This is a very desirable option to me, but it seems that most are going the S/C route. Really curious to hear some real world feedback with this package.

Personally I think that is what the Z06 should have been from the get go.....a 427 powered C7 GrandSport.

You're not the only one who has been waiting. I'm wondering if we have some Hennessy sort of shenanigans going on here because your typical owner doesn't waste any time posting about his glorious new 427. And no, I'm not calling anyone out here but I am getting to the point where my mind is running through the possibilities because in this case no news often turns out to be bad news.
