Default Steel Wheels or Cheap Winter Wheel Storage Solution

HI All,

My C7 GS has Competition Carbon's 86" wide body kit installed. Needless to say the custom signature wheels are very wide and tire options are very limited. I plan on storing my vette through the winter in my garage that will get pretty cold (I live in chicago). Ideally, I dont want to leave the Toyo R88R tires in freezing ambient temps if I can avoid it. Does anyone know what size steel wheels I can get away with for literally storing the vette? It will never be driven with the steel wheels installed.

If anyone has any other ideas, please let me know. I was even thinking of finding some warped stock wheels to use but I would like to hear your thoughts.

Thank you for your time!

It may not be cheaper than buying used wheels with crap tires and spacers to clear your brakes, but this is the option that a lot of shops go with. I think a set of 4 is $720.00.

You may still need a slip on spacer to clear your calipers.

Thank you very much! That is definitely an option Ill look into. They also sell spacers, I contacted them to determine if I need them or not.

Thanks again!

I'm sure there are plenty with bent wheels who'd be more than happy to sell to you to rest your car on over the winter.
