Isn't putting a Z07 badge on the car akin to putting a NAV or PDR badge on it? They are options as well. Maybe I'll put Comp on there since I have competition seats...

And Go Eagles!!! I grew up in Philly and now reside on the left coast.

I personally don't care about a Z07 badge on mine but it is a much bigger upgrade than Nav or PDR as it changes the handling of the car

They did for a while have it on the rear clear wickerbill but even that got the delete.
Other than the brakes its more of an option group than a model, and hence it doesn't warrant a separate designation. I've heard rumors of different spring rates over at the 'other' forums but no numbers, so it's not even clear it modifies the ride/handling other than the MR calibration. Then again, the C4 GS might have and it was more of a paint scheme than anything. But if I had the choice I'd swap the Z06 for Z07 myself too.

A JL8 Camaro SS is still just a Camaro SS (I'm using 'just' in the restrictive sense here, not the 'only' sense).

I agree no designation needed but it is a different suspension set up as well. Just the post saying it is like a badge for Nav or a PDR is just a little understating that their is a difference

I was merely playing devil's advocate by pointing out that Z07 is an option package and not a model designation. I suppose I should have used green font, but I am not so forum savvy.

I am in the camp of "less is more" when it comes to badges.

I found my way here searching for the exact same thing! I am guessing that most (if not all that bitched about it) do not have the Z07 designation, and want to bash those of us that are proud of what we purchased.

If you want to argue and put down others because they would like to customize even the smallest thing you really need to look in the mirror. This is not just your forum and Mama said if you don't have anything constructive to say then STFU!

You are not providing jack to people that are coming here looking for an option and ACTUALLY hurting your little bubble with people that will agree that you are a stuck up ***** and do not recognize ANY opinion but your own.

So what if I wanted to advertise that I have a PDR on my fender? So what if I wanted to enlighten a young person on what the winglets are meant for? You're (not all) arrogance when it is not founded is exactly what led to lack of new members on clubs. I am very aware how awesome the Vette is and this is my 3rd one, so embrace change and don't give someone crap just because you would not do it.

The thread is over two years old....and you randomly start up an argument with someone from 2015.

I choose to just ad a subtle "logo" to set my Z07 equipped Z06 apart from all the others. I had decided early on to pay a "homage" to the John Player Special race cars (and special models of Lotus) of the 70's and their black w/gold theme. Had the "pin stripe artist" that striped my car do the logo in the same bronze/gold to match my Finspeeds. I love it, and as was said most uneducated have no clue as to what it means. Who cares? I did it for me and no one else.

I have been a member for quite a while and I think it is crazy to make the original poster feel like crap because some do not agree. I actually came here again because the Google search turned up something and read in disgust that some people are just too good to let someone have their own sense of style.

So if anyone has any Z07 badges "yes I am not worthy, nor would I want to be" can you please PM me?

God, every thread in this forum turns into two (sometimes 20) grown men acting and arguing like a bunch of babies. This place has become so pathetic.

As far as the thread being over two years old, GM is still offering the Z07 option right? Even the GS buyer can order a Z07 option. BTW, "brain fart", I forgot to post the picture on my last entry, for those that care.

Its... back..... I'm the original poster and really could care less what others think about a dam decal I had made. I post things like this for inspiration to others. It would take a lot more to hurt my feelings like beating me on the track!

Some do like them as the guy that made them for me produced a lot he said 2 years ago. No he is not making them any more the run is over.

I like the gold fuelie

isn't the 3LZ option similar in cost?
