Default ZO7 Fender emblems

After letting the cat out of the bag this weekend on my new Z07 purchase a friend ask does it say it on the car. Well on the long drive home I thought a few of us just may buy a Z07 fender emblem in place of the stock Z06 including me!

It would be worth the price of admission watching folks scratch their heads at shows, tracks, parking lots. Any one out there know of any emblem manufactures?

60 degrees late this week I may finally get a chance to drive my car home from the dealer. Sick of reading about everyone else experiences but learned a ton here on this great site.

My 99 C5 Conv. sold on Ebay and will be floated over to Denmark very soon. Timing couldn't be better will need the garage space! 15 years of ownership it will a sad moment loading it up.

I'm sure there would be a few takers, however I like the sleek OEM look and how the Z06 badge is integrated into the fender grill. I think GM got it right the first time.

I'm interested if it replaces (and resembles) the Z06 emblem on the side vent. I don't want to have a "add on" on the fender or rear like some have done with the Z51 emblems.

That is my preference too.

I would definitely be in. I thought the early proto's said that already. But with others, I would like it to look just like the curren z06 emblems.

For $11,000 + it is surprising that GM didn't include a specialized Z07 emblem for the car.
They did for a while have it on the rear clear wickerbill but even that got the delete.

Well, they didn't include a badge for the Stingray Z51 performance package. Why would they include one for the Z06 performance package?

As I said, it did have the Z07 badge on the clear wickerbill....so....
For the +$11,000 I would have expected that much.
Wonder why they removed it in favor of the Corvette flags. Just so they could use it on other models?

Maybe in 2016!

Wow, I had no idea that the Z51 option was anywhere near $11k+.

Actually, yeah. It was posted that, it seems that $11k+ for the Z07 option, a emblem indicating the Z07 level would be included. (on the prototypes it was, on the clear wicker bill.) IMHO, a Z51 designator would be not a great deal different than having the car badged as 1,2 or 3LZ equipped as well. Don't get me wrong, I do know the difference between base and Z51, but again IMO, when the option is as costly and as extensive as the Z07 level, it would seem that some badging (or single badge) would be appropriate.

With Ferrari, you can order the SF Shields on the fenders just below the windshield. The SF refers to Scuderia Ferrari (Ferrari Racing Team). Would it be too much to have a styleized carbon fiber "CR" or Bowtie emblem to support the Corvette Racing Team as an option?

Actually to get the Z07 requires the cfz/cfv option as well over the base car.
Do the math.
