Hey gang, we're needing help. We have oscillated so many times between Midnight Gray and Sterling Silver stripes our heads are spinning.
Hard Top convertible, without a doubt
Elkhart Lake Blue Metallic, no doubt.
Sky Cool Gray two-tone GT2, yes.
The visualizer is absolutely horrible in rendering the stripe colors. Midnight gray looks almost black on the visualizer and it's not even close to that in real life. We've not been able to put eyes on the Sterling. I've asked 3 forum members details about the photos they've posted and nothing. Here's what the visualizer tries to show:
In real life, the visualizer's Sterling looks like Midnight in person. We suspect that the Sterling in real life is quite bright.
We've asked the dealer and have asked Chevrolet chat 3 different times to send samples of the 2 colors. nothing. We've asked at NCM, nothing.
We are pleading with the ELB thread if you could please identify the details in the photos you post. If you have some comparatives between gray and silver, we'd like to see them. We've only got a few more weeks before we go to status 3000.

IMO, ELB looks fantastic with no stripes. The color stands out without any enhancement. whatsoever. It’s just a great color, better than I could have imagined.

I agree the ELB C8 stands on its own merits, without stripes.
You can always add them in the future, with your own stripe pattern and colors.

I had 100% planned to add them at my detail shop after PC, and before PPF and CC. I was so stunned by the color, I called it off. The shop owner told me “why cover up and detract from the beauty of the color?”.
