How can you have a Elkhart Lake Blue Corvette to be built on 6/5, when the ELB paint color has been reported to have ended production, and been cancelled, to be replaced by Riptide Blue for 2024?
Can you clarify and report back?
Same way my ELB was built on 5/29, they had the paint. My order was placed on 3/27 when ELB was still an available color.
UGH! I got clusterbombed by a gravel truck while driving on the freeway. Dozens of marks on my ELBC8 left by gravel “leaking” from a truck. Got a pic of the truck. Called the company. They made it right. Had to replace all the PPF on the front of the car. Around $2200. Can’t say how much I recommend PPF. All those stones hitting the car. NO PAINT DAMAGE. The rocks marked up and damaged the PPF. If you’re wondering if PPF is worth it, the answer is YES! Freeway traffic. I couldn’t get out of the way of the gravel. I felt sick when it happened. But when I bought the car, the first thing I did was PPF and ceramic. Do it.
Same exact thing happened to my ELB C8, and exactly the same outcome bc my PPF saved it. Anyone not getting PPF at least on front end is rolling the dice IMO.
