Seriously , if you are incapable of doing the search in Amazon I mentioned, here is one result of that search just for you. There are many more plus some have the wires too. Do the search
Or click

thanks..I have the blendmount on my current corvette and disappointed its not going to work on my c8. Your link provided supposedly doesnt work on the c8 mirror.
i did use part of the original valentine one provided mount to install with the blendmount many hears ago so the standard valentine one mount no longer available for me to just use suction cups.
i really dont shop amazon that often as I leave that for my better half to play with. Makes her happy to be the amazon expert..
I hope assisting another corvette enthusiast on amazon product line up didnt put you out although the link you provided according to your own previous research supposedly doesnt work On c8 s.

Your fine effort in this regard is appreciated. I hope assisting another corvette enthusiast on amazon product line up didnt put you out.
Not at all. Glad to help. that s what the forum is supposed to be for vs Frunk Wars.
'Didn't mean to sound ____, i thought everyone had Amazon and familiar with their search.
BTW, I'm fairly certain that all of the mirror mounts for ANY RD will NOT WORK with the C8's Camera Mirror (LT2 & 3). I went with a dash pad posted above.
Bought cheap wire kit from Amazon with small leads (3 pack)
1. Used flat piece of plastic to pop open both sides of cap.
2. On passenger side, stuck black lead in with black wire and red lead with red wire.
3. Used one piece of electrical tape to secure.
4. Put cap back on and ran wire out top (no notching required).
Thanks for the info and particularly the pic above as I know how hard it is to take considering the location!
Yeah trying to get the focus point correct was a pain. The wires behind it look perfect though!
This is a fun story about making Macro Pics.
Wrote 2 books on welding for the CarTech Pro Sires. Was discussing the Oxyacetylene welded very small tubes that resulted in a 66 lb chassis in a 1960 Maserati Birdcage. Had taken pics of one my friend had and drove in Vintage Car Races. Saw an interesting detail on how the aluminum floor was attached to frame. My friend (who was born the same year a I was) and died totally unexpectedly 10 years ago. At his "Celebration of Life" were some of his ~40 Vintage cars, all in great condition, AND many of his ~40 Vintage Lake Racing Boats. Felt very bad about his passing so wound up buying a number of cars he had (albeit mine are very small!) Most very detailed 1:18 size from CMC. So looked at the two Birdcage models I had purchased, one without body, and saw the floor detail matched his original.
Had purchased some Macro Camera accessories since CarTech required ~300 pictures all very high quality. To get a closeup of that floor detail I used a Macro lens and a technique the photographer employed when taking pics for our equipment brochures at work. He called it "light painting." It also gives a lot of depth of field as it requires a very small aperture and exposure times 30 seconds to minutes! With the camera on a tripod I took a flashlight from about 3 feet away and went around the cars. This also eliminated shadows if using a simple point light source.
Amazingly, not only got the floor detail, which matched the actual car, could read the decals on the battery I did even know were there!
Or you can download the WAZE app on your phone in 5 minutes for free. Waze is better than radar IMO. If you get hit with an instant on radar gun, your radar will go off but it's too late. Way better to know that a speed trap is coming up before you can even see it or they see you..
Waze depends on other people reporting the cop. That's not always the case, especially in rural areas.

This process worked PERFECTLY on mine over the weekend - thank you for posting with the pictures.
^^^ Just installed mine. No need to use a "dental pick" to make room for the Blendmount wire ends like my 2017 Grand Sport. Used the wire tape I had on my C7 with the large flat ends.
As I had in my 2014 C7 and 2017 Grand Sport, added a Tether in case the ECORT "Sticky Mount" (I've used for ~7 years) lets lose! The Tether is made from a small fishing lure stanines leader that clips to a very small eye hook screwed into the upper trim. Has let lose a few times each summer if I park facing the sun on a very hot day! Tether prevents it from falling or the wires pulling out. Detector and holder just hang from the hook! Has never let lose when driving. When parked, the interior get hot and the sun raises the temp of the air that is left in the suction cup.
I like the "Sticky Mount" approach since I can remove it when parked in an area where it's "BEST" not to temp a "Smash (with a brick) and Grab" drug user to sell for a few bucks! Unhook the Tether and remove!
I never used to think about the 2 cups coming loose and the RD falling until last month I noticed a few chunks taken out of my dash on my Malibu! That is why I am deciding on which hard mount to use. can anyone confirm, it will attach / fit to the Camera mirror on LT2/3s? It would be helpful.
If you use a Blend Mount they will sell you one that works for your application. Order here https://blendmount.com/
For those of you that want to use a BLEND MOUNT....currently there are NONE available for sale, they are still in development....HOWEVER, you can go in and place you vehicle info in the dropdown menu and then there is a button you can select (then put your email address in) then they will notify you once the new mount for you car is available.
