I don’t get the yellow calipers and seat belts. The rest I sort of like.
I would give them supplier price for it 😈

Not as bad is the one car that was build yellow with blue interior. Who ever bought yellow and blue must have been smoking some gooooooddd stuff.

Approximately 1 in 12 men are colorblind. So there may be a few who like this. The spouse, well that's another matter. My personal poor taste fave: Yellow with Adrenaline Red interior, which some refer to as the Ronald McDonald look.

I remember a while ago, there was a thread on why some dealers require a large non refundable deposit when special ordering a car. Some people argued that it's not necessary as someone would purchase the car in a hot minute if it was relegated to dealer inventory. This car should be the poster child as to why the large deposit is needed.

Proof it doesn't take all kinds, there simply ARE all kinds.

^ See there. Someone was bound to like it.
Yes, Morello Red is gorgeous with the right exterior color. Your Craigslist ad is Adrenalin Red w/ Elkhart Lake Blue, which doesn't require color override, and looks OK. This is Rapid Blue w/ Morello, which is a bad clash to the vast majority, including GM's designers. The yellow seatbelts and calipers with those colors are way beyond the pale.

I don't think it is bad. I have a friend who loves that color combination. I would probably change out the yellow seat belts, and calipers. It's a few too many colors.

Blue with yellow calipers? Well, doesn't look too bad though I don't know if I appreciate the caliper color options on the 2020 C8 at all. Silver and black calipers work with everything, always. Blue with that interior? Well, ok, it works, not the worst I've seen though, again, black works with everything, always.
The only wtf thing I see here are the yellow seatbelts. Why are these ever an option at all? And who pays extra to have ugly seatbelts?
Overall, not a huge deal but I wouldn't pay that that much over msrp for any corvette, especially not one someone else ordered.

Would you say SOLD for $20k below MSRP?
Complete hypothetical based on this color combo for those looking at waiting until next Summer to take delivery; Your dealer calls you up after working down the list. He’s stuck with THIS car. He took a decent deposit on it but still can’t move it.
At what price below MSRP would you be willing to buy it for?
Realistically, this would be a hard pass. The calipers and seat belts can be changed and the car can be wrapped, but I’d be at $20k below sticker before I’d feel good about buying this color combination.

Was just watching a MECUM repeat (Aug 2020) on NBCSN and a 1965 COPO Vette Vert with the same blue/red color scheme sold for $80k.

A Chevy Dealer near me had a customer back out of a purchase after the car was delivered. I went to take a look mainly because I'm considering NRB when I order mine. The color combo on this car is awful!! I saw on the sticker that they paid the $590.00 Bad Taste TAX or as GM politely calls it Color Combination Override. The MSRP is $86,000. I asked if they are hoping to get sticker for this abomination. They said no.....they have it priced at $106,000
