We maybe seeing a paint change, as the past racing season showed "yellow" was much more faster and reliable than "silver"

Who knows, maybe they will release these and the ones that are scooped up will be even more valuable if they recall them off the shelves.
I really hope they do the actual 4 car in silver also. I’d really like to have the set.

My wife found a bunch at Kroger and Target this past week. It's not too bad, would've been nice if they had painted the back end of the car.

Yes, seems like they are in the regular packs Wal-Mart and Kroger are now receiving. Haven't yet found one in a Target near me (SW OH) though.

The unicorn to find is the Matchbox C8. It is blue and apparently not being widely distributed. Ironically the only place that I found one on the shelf was a local Dollar Tree of all places.

I just picked up a 1/18 scale version of the C8.R there myself.

I picked up a great C7-R model in 1/36 scale (about twice as large as Hot Wheels at 5” long) at the local CVS pharmacy. Only cost a few dollars. It’s made by “Kinsmart”. Every time I visit CVS I hope to see a C8-R version, haven’t seen one yet.

Just subscribed to this thread. Been looking for a Hot Wheels C8 for some time. Decided to revisit my local Walmart today and do a deep dive into both the Hot Wheel racks and bins. Success! Way back on a rack found the elusive C8.R #4 mistake, cheap too at $1.00 with Pa Tax. Now, to find that Matchbook Blue C8 unicorn
