C8 Edge Red Break Calipers and Red Mist Metallic Paint color
I would like to ask my corvette enthusiast in this forum about their take on this concern I have as I place my final options on my C8. I wonder if there is much discernible contrast (or not look good) the edge red break caliper with the Red Mist Metallic Tint Coat paint on the car. If anyone has pictures I would love to see how it looks instead of the Chevrolet Build Your Car website.
They look like a perfect match. If I was ordering Red Mist I would most definately get the Edge Red Calipers. I ordered the Bright Red calipers to match with the Torch Red exterior.

Agreed. I got the edge red calipers with Red Mist HTC and they go very well.
I like black brake calipers myself because I think the colored calipers distract from the overall look of the car. But to each his own!
I agree with you. At first I thought it was okay until I examined it in person. The red torch or edge red CALIPERS on the red mist are not necessary to my looks. It doesn't make the car look any better. But I see that most of the members prefer the painted CALIPERS. 👍🏻
I ordered my 2021 Red Mist with the Edge Red calipers. I saw one in VanBortel's showroom. I changed from Torch Red to Red Mist three hours before the cutoff on my order. So glad I did. You'll love the R/M - edge red combo. @ 3000 and waiting. Sully

Thanks for the pictures - my HTC will be Red mist and the silver wheels like the last picture. Even though I’m a fan of Red Calipers,
I decided to forgo either Edge Red or Torch red and just get the Black ones. I think it ties in with the boomerangs.
And, if I change my mind, I can paint them for a lot less than $500.

Another vote for the black calipers here. Agree with op the red doesn’t make the RM car look any better. But again, each to his own, there are no wrong choices.
