Ignorance is bliss, I suppose. It is NOT illegal in Kommiefornia if you have a CCW - lots of folks carry concealed here in Cali.

Those who question another citizens choice to carry a firearm are not asking a question. They are in fact passing judgment on all law abiding gun owners. Their goal is and always has been to make gun owners out to be unstable, irrational, and highly aggressive while they deny the violent world we all live in.
As usual, Liberalism melts in the face of reality.

Sunglasses fit perfect behind the screen on top of the dash.

thats why you always hear about “mass shooters” on the news and why Dems are right now trying to tighten down on gun control.

you never hear them talk about the 8 people who were just shot in Chicago yesterday alone

I take the same position with my conceal carry as I do car insurance.
I'm glad I have it, but hope I never have to use it.

My conceal carry stays with me everywhere, but almost never left in the car. I even carry it where guns are not allowed which is very rare in AZ. Only time I separate from it is if I know I'll be going through a metal detector; otherwise....

Just tried a G19 in my coupe center console - a very tight fit, and that's without the magazine. The magazine base pad prevents it from fitting. I wouldn't stick a G19 in there - too tight.
Colt Officer's .45 ACP - does not fit
Kahr CW9 - fits

It looks like compact pistols may not fit, but most sub-compacts should.

You are correct in saying that it is legal in California to carry if one has a CCW. However, do you have any idea as to how tough it is to obtain that permit. A buddy of mine was a private detective and told me that it is close to impossible for the average Joe to get a permit. I have lived in LA just about all of my life and thankfully, do not know anyone who carries. Of course i'm sure that many do illegally.

The old "cubby" behind the screen is the single mot DANGEROUS place to put your firearm. You will NEVER and I mean ever get that firearm when your life is in danger. Look up "gun magnets" on Amazon simply mount that magnet under your plastic steering column with 3/4" sheet metal screws and you handgun fits nicely underneath and you will have constant and easy access to your firearm and still well concealed. Problem solved!
