Default Is there a hidden cubbyhole for pistol

I loved the space behind the display on my C7's for carrying my pistol. Is there similar space on the C8 that would work as well?

Nothing hidden. Console or glove box.

"I loved the space behind the display on my C7's..." Yeah, it was great until it jammed or stopped working... with no mechanical back-up (like the gas-door).

There's not even a place for your sunglasses.

The lack of interior storage space in the C8 is a disappointment especially on road trips. I loved the space behind the seats in my C7 coupe. I guess that's what you give up for a mid engine sports car. The performance of the C8 more than makes up for this issue.

Under the arm works good. Wear a BH too if you prefer that when you get out of the car.

Picking my c8 up next week and I'm already missing the cubby. It was a great spot for guns.

I agree with both of you! GM should have at least designed in a space for putting sun glasses, such as behind the bade of of the rear view mirror, and/or also leverage the spaces between the seats under the subwoofer grill to make some extra storage spaces. It's likely that their engineering efforts were needed on something else while trying to make the release schedule and this was overlooked or bumped down on the priority list.

Behind the infotainment screen. I put a small piece of black shelf liner there and it works great for holding my sunglasses.

hell. My new Cadillac 3 row SUV doesn't even have a dedicated space for sunglasses anymore. Idk why they stopped it. But it sucks..

Old school visor clip or case and in the glove I guess.

I’m going to miss the safe that the C7 had. Not sure why they took it away for the C8.

I bought one of those sun glasses case for visor clip, and it turned out that due to its thickness it blocks a small portion of the frontal visibility over the windshield, so I had to take it down, and it's too big to fit insider the small compartment space between the two seats under the mobile phone charging pocket, so I had to store it in the glove compartment, which sucks because it's hard to reach to get it when you are driving. So now I leave the sun glasses in the center cup holder without the case, since the case won't fit. This whole thing of lack storage space is kind of a ridiculous oversight in the design of the car!

Hang it from the visor. Concealed in plain sight.

Can't speak for other generations, but compared to my C6 the seats are narrower. My IWB holster was fine in the C6, not really an option in the C8. I'm still trying to find a solution, too.
