Just delivered this HSG C8.R HTC to the new owner. Such a great color in the sun! I love it with the body color accents.
I did not want for my personal ownership the C8R accoutrements with yellow accents and graphics along with the ground effects and high wing, but....that is one outstanding looking car. Truly gorgeous. I think that car in that livery will stand the test of time well. Classic.
HGM is an awesome color and most people notice the slight touch of green, but the combo is awesome.
I found this car while on vacation in San Antonio and just wanted to go check out the color, 4 hours later my C8 wait came to an end.

Has anyone seen HGM with bronze wheels? Can’t decide if it would look “just right” or “just wrong.”
Just my opinion, but I don't think its going to work. The tint of green with that bronze is going to be a problem. Stick with black, carbon flash, or a brushed face.
My opinion is that it will not go well, stay with the black and HGM theme. The wheels will look out of place.

My thinking too. The adage that "bronze wheels go with anything" perhaps should read "...nearly everything." Thanks for chiming in. I'd still be curious to see it if for little more reason than it's fun to see C8s in lots of different configurations even when not choices I would make.

Just please don't do Avant Garde 580s or Vossen HF5s or any of the other manufacturers of that style. Seems like a high % of cars posted have that style wheel. With everyone choosing that wheel you would think it was factory.

Funny you say that. I'm always amused at how "sheepy" we all are in the ways in which we "customize" our cars to be different by copying what others have done. So custom wheels like the 580s or HF5s become commonplace and anything that is at all different is considered questionable. Everything must be tridents or tuning forks on a C8.
We all look for advice here which is very productive, in the end YOU have to do what YOU want. We all have different opinions but the car will be in your garage not ours.

You are so, so right. I went HF5s on my C7 since I didn't see that many pictures with those on a C7. For my C8, I went with something totally different. I did Klassen's. I haven't seen a post yet with them, but I went carbon flash.

It’s all advice. I’ll never tell another man/woman how to spend their money.
Some people like forming their own decisions by bouncing their ideas off others. Nothing wrong with that. Doing so doesn't (have to) mean letting others make the ultimate decision, or that the person who asked the question will follow the advice given. If I ask my wife a C8 opinion I get what we call "dog head". I'd rather ask others who have thought about such things their opinions. Huh? Huh?? HUH???
