When I took delivery of my HTC, I had the dealer install the two, large, outer radiator protection screens. I did not have him install the small inner screens, because as the picture below depicts, there is nothing behind the stock smaller inner grills, other than a piece of solid plastic. In other words, nothing to "protect". I guess that is because in my case I have a non-Z51? If I'm correct, then folks should know that if they are driving a non-Z51 C8, there is no need to buy the inner screens...
Not exactly. Look to the left side of your photo. That is the condenser and it is exposed. On a Z51 the right portion of your photo would have the front brake air duct.
There is just a small portion of the radiators that are visible through the small inner fascia opening. I added to mine primarily to keep the look consistent.
I'm going with the EZScreenout. They're on my Christmas list. No screws to remove, not tie wraps either. .. Roll em and slide 'em in.. I hope. .. Slide 'em out, wash 'em up, and re-install.
That's the theory anyway.

I'm considering those- I like them for the reasons you mention.
Some have said that they're more a bug deflector than a projectile deflector. I don't have a hands-on on a set, so I don't know.
Maybe someone who already has a set in use can comment.

Not really worried about rocks. I figure GM has engineers for that. The EZ Screens will hide all those dents anyway so this IS to keep the bugs from clogging the vanes.
I wish I had installed my screens before leaving the dealer in the Detriot area. On the trip back to Colorado Springs I encountered thousands of bugs, some were flying giants. By the time I got home over a hundred condenser fins were completely bent and clogged with bugs. After pressure washing out the bugs, it took many hours to carefully reshape the bent fins. Hardly any bugs up here, but lots of stones being kicked up. Happy I installed grill guards. Also no detectable change in engine temperature.

I have them on mine for 4400 miles. They took less then 5 minutes each to install and they work great and look great. They totally protect the radiators from rocks and any debris.
I have EZSCREEN out, I don't have many miles on her but picked up some bent fins on drive from dealer. Installed the screens, temp has been between 185 - 197, so far no issues.
Hi All,
Good afternoon. Just another sunny day in Paradise With a C8!!! Just over 500 miles and already had some dents in the fins. I had ordered the screens from Paragon and they arrived on Tuesday. I started with the drivers side and found out that it is the most difficult side due to limited accessibility. The passenger side was much less difficult with better access. I think they are a quality product and will work well. A little pricy at $300 but better than fixing a hole in the radiator. Take care and enjoy your Vettes.

I have found the inner screens to be very beneficial
at keeping bugs from packing deep into the front end. Then again I live in the hopper infested Dakotas
Well I bought both of the ScrapeAmour radiator screens and the front splitter protection for my car and am very satisfied with them so far. But only had them for about a week so far. I was going to attempt installing them myself but without a 4 post lift was looking damn near impossible for me to do. So I drove to my dealership and asked my sales guy if he could get them both put on for me. I may be a little lighter in the wallet but would still be taking up space in my truck if I hadn’t had them do it for me.

OMG, How do you clean them out? It looks like you need to pressure wash from the inside. Do you use tweezers and pull out every bug.

Actually, that piece of plastic curves towards the radiator for deflecting air from the smaller grilles to the radiator. Any rocks, bugs, etc passing through those same-sized openings on the smaller grilles are heading towards your radiator. I installed screens on both the large and small grilles for a completed look and full coverage of the airflow paths.
they may be available somewhere, but the company is out of business. Not enough sales. These might be what's left over, hard to tell. Twice as expensive as they were, and from OZ.
