Like many I wish to paint my own engine cover. Where can I buy W732D Edge Red aerosol paint?

Look on line or have your local body shop paint supplier mix you up a pint.

My understanding is that while that is the code attributed to Edge Red, in truth there is no such code and/or no manufacturers make such a color with that code. There are though a number of substitutes that others have used with good results, use search function and I bet you’ll find it. And then repost it here!

Dealer gave me this paint code that was used on mine:WA252F ( Cherry Bomb Red).

It does look great. I’d be looking for a Duplicolor etc ready made match first and if not I’ll order from a paint supplier

The Corvette Action Center published W732D as being the paint code for Edge Red. They were totally wrong. There is no W732D paint code. I'd go with what @C21ban recommended: WA252F.

If you have the paint in a can, you can take it to some paint/car parts places (Evergreen paint in Longview WA for example) and they will put in the a rattle can for you--for a price.

This is for those of you trying to match Edge Red closely. One pic is in the bright sunlight while the other is in the shade. Barcelona on left while Inferno on right.. in both pictures. I believe Barcelona is closer. Neither has any clear coat.

I sent my C8 engine side panels to American Hydrocarbon and they did the prep, paint, clear coat, and polish for a very reasonable price. They look exceptional and professional, the way that they should have come from the factory with the Edge Red engine cover and valve covers. Pat Scorzetti at American Hydrocarbon has the best paint and hydro dip in the industry.

Automotivetouchup.com. You can also get Plastic Adhesion Promoter (highly recommended) and clear coat in spray cans from them.

I used that exact code, and Sherwin Automotive Paints, made me a rattle can. It is a PERFECT match to the EDGE red on the valve covers.
